Cookie Policy

What we use and why

The Hayseed Homeschool Planner uses a small number of cookies and device storage (local storage). These keep you signed in, remember your choices, and make the app work properly. They do not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising cookies or advertising networks.

Strictly necessary storage

These are needed for the app to function. They cannot be switched off.

• Sign-in session tokens, so your account stays open securely.
• Learner device sessions for Child View, so a learner's device remembers who is signed in on it (only if 'Remember me' is chosen).
• Your saved preferences, such as dismissed tips and your cookie choices.

Optional usage analytics

We can collect simple, anonymous usage statistics — for example, which features are opened most often — to improve the app. This is off by default. It does not include your name, your learners' names, or anything you or your learners write. You can switch it on or off at any time on the Manage Cookies page.

Third-party services

When you start a payment, Stripe processes the checkout on its own website under its privacy policy. Page fonts are delivered by Google Fonts. Neither sets advertising cookies on this app.

Managing your choices

You can change your analytics choice at any time on the Manage Cookies page. Changes take effect the next time the app loads. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings — you will simply be signed out and asked to sign in again.
